Rev. Ron Wenzel

I was born in Alton and attended SS Peter and Paul School and two years at Marquette, but graduated from Alton High. My wife Carolyn and I left the area for fifteen years, living in six different states, returning in the late 90s. Along the way I was vice-president of a Lutheran congregation, worship leader at an Evangelical Free Church, a Presbyterian youth pastor, attended a Southern Baptist Bible College and preached as part of a rotation at a Methodist church. I have served as a pastor in two different Baptist denominations. What matters to me is that the Bible is taught accurately, and that we can serve in a church that is actively trying to make a difference in its community.  My wife Carolyn and I have two sons and three grandchildren and are grateful for all God has done in our lives.  We are excited about what God is doing at Rosewood Heights Community Church and would love to meet you!
